Code of conduct

Five promises we intend to keep.

Most companies bury this sort of thing in terms nobody reads. We would rather say it out loud, up front, before you trust us with any of your work. These hold for everything we build, and if we ever fall short of one, tell us.

Where we stand

We believe the Bible, as written, is the truth. It guides our mission and everything that leaves this workshop.

The pulpit stays yours

We will never write a sermon for you, and we will never copy your voice. Preaching belongs to the person God called to do it, and that person is not us.

No tool of ours will turn a passage into a finished sermon, and none of them study your old writing to sound like you. They hold your research, your outlines and your drafts, and that is all. The words your congregation hears are your own.

Your work stays yours

We do not sell your notes, your sermons, or anything about your congregation. We do not hand them to anybody else, and we do not use them to train a model. What you put in, you can take back out.

Export is a button in everything we build, not a support ticket you have to chase. If you leave, your work leaves with you, in files you can actually open. The same goes for this website: nobody is following you around it.

No dark patterns

One price list. No hidden tiers, and no maze on the way out. Cancelling is simple, and we tell you that before you ever pay us.

No countdown timers. No asking “are you sure?” three times over. And nothing you rely on quietly moves to a pricier plan once you have built your week around it.

Plain about the machine

When a computer helped with something, we say so. Nothing shows up in your document that you did not ask for, and we will not let a guess sound like a fact.

Help waits behind a button until you press it. When it answers, it shows you where the answer came from, and it will tell you it does not know rather than make something up.

Priced for the small church

A church of sixty should be able to afford the same tools as a church of six thousand. If cost is the only thing standing in your way, write to us.

Those notes come to the same inbox as everything else, and we answer them ourselves. You will not be asked to prove anything or explain your budget to us.

These apply to everything we make, including the apps we have not built yet. If something we ship does not line up with what is written here, tell us. It reaches the same inbox as everything else.
